Executive Chairman Scot Wingo sets the strategic direction for the company, and works closely with the management team to align product direction with market trends. Scot is an industry thought leader, contributing regularly to several ChannelAdvisor blogs and speaking often at industry events.

Scot received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. Scot has received numerous awards including Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and Triangle Business Journal’s Businessperson of the Year.

As the Chief Technology Officer, Aris Buinevicius drives the company’s technological vision and uses innovative knowledge management and development practices to enhance the company’s competitive edge. Prior to ChannelAdvisor, Aris was the Director of Technology at GoTo Auctions, CTO and co-founder of AuctionRover.com and CTO and co-founder of Stingray Software.

Aris received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University and Master of Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University.  He was recently named to the 2010 InfoWorld CTO 25, honoring the top CTOs of 2010.

David Spitz - CEO and Board Member

CEO and Board Member

David Spitz, ChannelAdvisor’s CEO, is responsible for leading the company in its mission to provide retailers and branded manufacturers with the software and services needed to successfully sell their products via online sales channels. Before joining ChannelAdvisor, Spitz founded and successfully exited multiple venture-backed software companies. He was most recently an entrepreneur-in-residence at the Aurora Funds, a venture capital firm with more than $200 million under management. Prior to Aurora, David was president of Avesair, a mobile marketing company that was acquired by Inphonic. Previous to Avesair, David was co-founder and CTO of Netsation, a network management software company acquired by Nortel Networks.

David received a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. David recently was awarded the Triangle Business Journal’s 2010 CFO of the Year Award, and in 2008, David received the Triangle Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40 award. David has also been awarded three U.S. patents, is past chairman of the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics Foundation Board and is a member of the executive committee and board of directors for the North Carolina Council for Entrepreneurial Development.

Mark Cook - Chief Financial Officer

Mark Cook, Chief Financial Officer for ChannelAdvisor, oversees global financial operations and strategy for the company. In this capacity, he manages all accounting, treasury and cash management operations, financial planning and analysis, long-term strategic planning and investor relations. Mark served as Vice President, Finance and Controller of Red Hat, Inc., a leading global provider of open source software solutions, from 2007 until joining ChannelAdvisor and served as Vice President and Treasurer from 2004 to 2007. From 1980 through 2004, he held roles as Director of Corporate Finance, Treasurer, Analyst and Programmer with global textile and manufacturing companies including RJR Nabisco, Inc. and Burlington Industries, Inc. Mr. Cook received a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University and a M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Ryan Walsh - Chief Revenue Officer

Chief revenue officer Ryan Walsh is focused on the continued development and execution of ChannelAdvisor’s global sales strategy. He is currently responsible for customer acquisition, expansion and retention, as well as business development, account management and sales engineering across North America, Europe and Australia. Overseeing the sales organizations in those regions, Ryan is influential in positioning ChannelAdvisor as the essential partner for e-commerce worldwide.

Ryan started his career at ChannelAdvisor in 2001, and has consistently exceeded sales targets and achieved record bookings throughout his career as both an individual contributor and sales director. Prior to ChannelAdvisor he was a sales manager at GoTo Auctions, as well as various sales roles for AuctionRover.com. Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2011, Ryan received the Movers & Shakers Award from Business Leader Magazine based on his sales management skills and record-breaking sales performance.

Diana Allen - Vice President and General Counsel

Vice President and General Counsel

Diana Semel Allen, vice president and general counsel for ChannelAdvisor, oversees worldwide legal functions, including regulatory compliance, commercial affairs, M&A, litigation and intellectual property management.

Diana previously served as associate general counsel, assistant secretary and compliance director for Cree, Inc., a leading innovator of lighting-class LED products, lighting products and semiconductor products for power and radio-frequency applications. Prior to joining Cree in 2005, she was a corporate attorney with Helms Mulliss & Wicker, PLLC, a Raleigh, North Carolina law firm (formerly part of Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore LLP).

Diana received a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors from Columbia College, Columbia University and a Juris Doctor with high honors from Duke University School of Law. She serves on the board of directors of the Research Triangle Area Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and is a section council member for the North Carolina Bar Association International Law Section.

Josh Christie - Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Josh Christie leads the global engineering organization responsible for ChannelAdvisor’s highly scalable software as a service (SaaS) platform. In this role, he works closely with partners, customers and product management to deliver innovative solutions to complex e-commerce challenges.

Before joining ChannelAdvisor in 2006, Josh was a software design engineer at Microsoft and an early member of the team that created Visual Studio Team System (now Visual Studio ALM). Josh received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both with highest honors, from North Carolina State University where he was a Park Scholar.

Paul Colucci - Vice President of Enterprise Sales

Vice President of Enterprise Sales

Vice president of enterprise sales, Paul Colucci oversees global enterprise sales, driving a company focus on customer acquisition and retention. In addition, he is responsible for generating new business and extending client relationships across the e-commerce industry and across international markets.

Before joining ChannelAdvisor in 2008, Paul acted as an executive partner for Iconitel Consulting Services, an information strategies firm. Before Iconitel, Paul served as president of Accolade Concepts, a marketing consulting services company, where he built new business by offering leading edge solutions for new product launches, marketing campaigns and internet strategies. Paul has also held executive positions in sales and product marketing with top start-up and established technology companies such as Venda, Thomson Dialog and Profound. Paul received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University.

Richard Cornetta - Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer

As vice president of finance and chief accounting officer, Richard oversees the global accounting, tax, treasury, SEC reporting, Payroll, Procure-to-Pay and SOX compliance operations for ChannelAdvisor. He also manages the corporate audit and international statutory audit requirements for the Company.

Richard served as controller for ChannelAdvisor from September 2013 to November 2015. Previous to ChannelAdvisor, Richard was employed by Dex Media, Inc., a public company providing local marketing solutions, as the director of financial reporting and accounting. Prior to Dex Media, Inc., Richard served as senior financial reporting analyst at UST Inc., and as a senior accountant with Ernst & Young.

Richard received a B.A. degree in Accounting (Cum Laude) from Iona College. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a fellow of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Richard is also a graduate of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Raleigh program.

James Huang - Vice President and Managing Director of ChannelAdvisor Greater China

James Huang

Vice President and Managing Director of ChannelAdvisor Greater China

ChannelAdvisor’s Vice President of Greater China, James Huang is responsible for helping retailers and manufacturers understand the value of the ChannelAdvisor platform in their efforts to successfully sell their products across multiple online channels and geographies, as well as continuing to expand sales in the Greater China region.

Prior to this role, Huang was the chairman and CEO of MerchantRun Holdings Limited, where he pioneered channel-management software services and subsequently led the company to acquisition. He then became the senior vice president of overseas business development for 4PX, where he managed major initiatives for the group’s five subsidiaries and engineered strategic partnerships with online marketplaces.

Lance Phillips, vice president of services for ChannelAdvisor, oversees ChannelAdvisor’s U.S. services team, including account management, professional services, launch services and customer support. In this role, Lance is responsible for customer success, retention and growth. Phillips brings to the role more than 15 years in customer support. Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, he served as vice president of customer loyalty at Youth Digital. Additionally, he held customer experience positions at Cumulus Networks and Red Hat. Phillips has significant international knowledge building and working with customer experience teams in Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Melissa Sargeant - Chief Marketing Officer

Chief Marketing Officer Melissa Sargeant oversees ChannelAdvisor’s worldwide marketing initiatives, including corporate and product branding, demand generation, public relations and event management. Melissa leverages her background in developing go-to-market strategies for software-as-a-service companies to elevate awareness of ChannelAdvisor’s leading e-commerce platform.

Melissa has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience. Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, she served as vice president of marketing for Avalara, a leading tax compliance automation firm. Before Avalara, she was senior director of product marketing at CA Technologies. She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and U.S. history from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.

Mike Shapaker -  Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA

Mike Shapaker currently serves as vice president and managing director, EMEA for ChannelAdvisor, where he is responsible for developing the company’s local strategy and direction for growth. Mike Shapaker previously held the position of vice president of brands and manufacturers at ChannelAdvisor, where he was responsible for leading the ChannelAdvisor for Brands initiative. During his time at ChannelAdvisor, Mike Shapaker has led the company’s Professional Services and Business Operations teams.

Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor, Mike held leadership roles in product management and marketing at Nortel Networks and TheraSim. Mike began his career as a consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton.

Mike received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

As Vice President of Product Management, Mark is responsible for overseeing ChannelAdvisor’s Marketplaces solution, extending the company’s global leadership in marketplace management. Under Mark’s lead, the ChannelAdvisor product management team is responsible for equipping branded manufacturers and retailers with the features and functionalities they need to optimize their sales and increase their global footprint.

A 14-year veteran of ChannelAdvisor, Mark has served as director of cross-border trade and director of services. Most recently, he served as the director of business development, managing strategic partnerships and exploring new business opportunities that benefit brands and retailers across ChannelAdvisor’s supported e-commerce channels. He holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

As Vice President of Product Management at ChannelAdvisor, Link is responsible for driving the roadmap for the company’s Digital Marketing solution. He oversees a team dedicated to working with customers and the engineering team to deliver innovative technology to the market.

Prior to joining ChannelAdvisor in 2005, Link managed online marketing for Art.com, an online retailer of posters, prints and original artwork. Previous to Art.com, Link worked as a management consultant helping companies in finance, strategy and organizational design. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.

Louis J. Volpe

Prior to joining Kodiak Venture Partners, Lou was president, chief operating officer and director of ArrowPoint Communications where he was responsible for all of ArrowPoint’s functional organizations and focused on managing worldwide operations to achieve company growth objectives. ArrowPoint had a successful IPO in March 2000 and was acquired by Cisco Systems for $5.5 billion in June 2000. Lou is a board member of airwide solutions, Azimuth Systems, Egenera, GTESS, HighRoads, K-Motion Interactive, Newforma, SpaceClaim, and ChannelAdvisor. Prior to joining ArrowPoint, Lou was senior vice president of worldwide sales & marketing and a member of the board of GeoTel Communications, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in June 1999. He joined GeoTel early in its development stage and was a major contributor in building its worldwide sales and marketing presence. He was also instrumental in guiding the company through its IPO and eventual $2 billion acquisition. Previously, he served as senior vice president of marketing and operations for Parametric Technology Corporation from 1989 to 1994. Before Parametric, he was an executive at Prime Computer. Lou has been an active investor and board member of a number of companies including Atria (acquired by Pure) and Softdesk (acquired by Autodesk). Lou holds a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.

Tim Buckley

Tim is the former chief operating officer for Red Hat (Nasdaq:RHAT) the world’s premier open source and Linux provider. As COO, Tim used his insight to accelerate the momentum of open source and expand Red Hat’s worldwide business, service and support operations. Prior to Red Hat, Tim was senior vice president of worldwide sales at Seattle-based Visio Corporation, where he was instrumental in growing the company from a start-up to a public company that was acquired by Microsoft for $1.5 billion.

Tim Williams

Tim held the chief financial officer position at Blackbaud (NASDAQ: BLKB), a SaaS provider to non-profit organizations, before retiring in 2011. During his tenure, which lasted over a decade, Tim played a significant role in BlackBaud’s financial reporting, human resources and legal operations, and led the company’s initial public offering in 2004. In addition, he drove record growth at Blackbaud and headed a number of key acquisitions. With expertise in financial management, Tim has served on several boards such as PROS Holdings, Inc., ROS Revenue Management and ManageIQ, Inc. Tim’s prior roles include executive VP and CFO at Holiday Inn Worldwide as well as CFO of Mynd Corporation. He holds a B.A. in business from the University of Northern Iowa.

Prior to founding the company, he served as general manager of GoTo Auctions, chief executive officer and co-founder of AuctionRover.com, which was acquired by GoTo.com, and as chief executive officer and co-founder of Stingray Software, which was acquired by RogueWave. Mr. Wingo received a B.S. degree in computer science from the University of South Carolina and a M.S. degree in computer science from North Carolina State University.

David Spitz serves as ChannelAdvisor’s CEO, and joined the board of directors in 2015. Before joining ChannelAdvisor, Spitz was an entrepreneur-in-residence at the Aurora Funds, a venture capital firm, from 2005 to 2008. Previously, from 2000 to 2002, Mr. Spitz was founder and chief technology officer of WindWire, a mobile marketing company that was acquired by Avesair, where he then served as president until its acquisition by Inphonic in 2003. Mr. Spitz received a B.A. degree in computer science from the University of California, San Diego.

Janet Cowell

Janet Cowell has served since 2008 as the Treasurer of the State of North Carolina, the first woman to hold the office. From 2004 to 2008, she served as a North Carolina State Senator, and she served on the Raleigh, North Carolina City Council from 2001 to 2004. Earlier in her career she worked with Corning Inc., Sibson & Co., SJF Ventures, HSBC Holdings plc and Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Ms. Cowell received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business as well as a Master’s in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania Lauder Institute.

Marc Huffman

Marc Huffman has served since 2014 as the president, worldwide sales and distribution of NetSuite Inc., a public company providing cloud-based financial solutions, and previously served as its senior vice president of North American Verticals, Channels and APAC from 2010 to 2014, as senior vice president of sales, North America from 2008 to 2010, and as vice president of sales beginning in 2003. Before joining NetSuite, he served as group sales director at Oracle Corporation from 1996 to 2003 and as a sales manager at Hayden Enterprises from 1995 to 1996. Mr. Huffman received a B.S. degree in business with emphasis on marketing from California State University, Chico.
