ChannelAdvisor Reaches 10 Million Products Sold on Amazon

Massive Holiday Sales Catapult ChannelAdvisor Over Milestone 

Research Triangle Park, NC – December 13, 2010 – ChannelAdvisor, a software and services solution provider that enables online retailers to sell more across e-commerce channels, announced today that it has sold more than 10 million products on Amazon, with 60 percent of those sales occurring in 2010.

“Amazon has been on an explosive growth trajectory this year and especially this holiday season, often doubling some of our largest sales days from 2009,” said Scot Wingo, CEO of ChannelAdvisor. “Reaching 10 million items sold on Amazon was a landmark achievement for us and for our customers. At the rate we’re growing with total sales on Amazon up by 135 percent year over year, we’re optimistic that another sales milestone is just around the corner.”

The official 10-millionth product was the eBags Mother Lode TLS Mini 21″ Wheeled Duffel in Pitch Black. This year eBags experienced incredible growth of more than100 percent on Amazon during the Cyber Five, the five days from Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday; a figure that is even more impressive considering that eBags didn’t begin selling on Amazon through ChannelAdvisor until two months ago.

Next I’d like to see eBags alone sell 10 million products through Amazon!”

So far this year ChannelAdvisor reported that same-store sales , which include customers active with ChannelAdvisor for at least one year, for Amazon were up 82.3 percent on Black Friday and a striking 98.1 percent on Cyber Monday.
