RED LETTER DAYS LAUNCHES EBAY EXPERIENCE

March 2008 – Red Letter Days, the UK’s leading experience company, has announced its presence on online market place eBay.  ChannelAdvisor, the leading provider of e-commerce channel management solutions, will power the experience seller’s eBay listings and bespoke shop (http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Red-Letter-Days-Ltd) via its MarketplaceAdvisor Premium Software.

Red Letter Days sells a variety of experiences ranging from luxury spa days and  driving days to truly once in a lifetime opportunities like trips to the North Pole. Red Letter Days join a growing number of enterprise-sized clients who use ChannelAdvisor to power sales across multiple online channels including marketplaces like eBay, Amazon, Comparison Shopping Engines (CSEs) such as Shopping.com, Kelkoo and Pricerunner and paid search networks including Google, Yahoo and MSN.

James Scott, ChannelAdvisor’s UK managing director said: “We are delighted to be working with such a high profile brand as Red Letter Days. They join an increasing number of large companies who see an incredible opportunity on marketplaces, traditionally populated by Small and Medium sized enterprises (SMEs), like eBay and we look forward to working with them to develop this new highly visible and potentially lucrative channel.”

Angela Greenwood, Red Letter Days’ Online and Direct Marketing Manager said: “ChannelAdvisor’s technology allows us to open up this new sales channel with relative ease. Having our own presence on eBay is definitely an important aspect of enhancing our customers’ experience of Red Letter Days and protecting our brand online particularly as the site is used by merchants either reselling or passing experiences off as Red Letter Days products. Being part of the eBay community ourselves guarantees the Red Letter Days experience will be a good one.”

Red Letter Days’ Managing Director, Bill Alexander will also join representatives from Google, Paypal, eBay, Amazon, Play.com and the IMRG at this year’s Catalyst event in central London (www.channeladvisor.co.uk/catalyst), where he will be speaking about the importance of building strong brand awareness.
